NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FSA
SUPPORT EMPLOYEES
We are FSA support staff employees; non-supervisory employees located all across the US actively working towards
better, more efficient service to our customers.  Originally formed in 1975 by support staff of Farmers Home
Administration, the National Association of County Office Assistants and Clerks (NACOAC) has played an active and
vital role in the development of program delivery. In 1996 the National Association of Support Employees (NASE) was
created when Congress decided to re-organize the USDA agencies and form two new separate agencies; Rural
Development and Farm Service Agency.  Our membership is open to all non-supervisory Farm Service Agency
employees, federal and county.

accomplishing the mission of USDA and FSA

employee associations
How can we help you?
NASE gives you direct input into how you can do your job more effectively and efficiently, as well as how to
give your customers the professional service that they desire!! Our Zone and National Convention are attended
by FSA National Office and Finance Office Staffs.  There,
you are the person who can do something about it!

With our
Resolution Process, all of your ideas are given consideration, first at the Zone Meeting in your area,
where they are reviewed, voted on, and sent to the National Convention.  The resolutions at National
Convention are voted on by the full membership attending.  The successful resolutions from the National
Convention are sent directly to the National Office or Finance Office for determining feasibility.  In the Past,
NASE has seen many, many resolutions put into permanent practice!    NASE sees countless resolutions put
into permanent practice which improves service and enhances efficiency and performance.
